Body washing Proper washing keeps our bike everlasting and it's look and performance remains for a long time. I normally wash with water without adding any cleaning substance. But once in a month I wash it with Amway Car Wash.
Seat polishing I really takes care of the seat of the bullet. It will definitely improve the look of the bike. torn or worn seats affect the overall look of bullet. I use Formula 1 Mr Leather to polish the seat. One bottle cost Rs.200. Just four drops is required to completely polish the seat. One polishing will last for more than a week.
Rubber I also polish the rubber parts in the bike (foot rest, gear lever, etc..) with Cherry blossom polish twice in a month. One tin costs Rs.15 which can be used for more than three months. I tried Formula 1 Mr Leather on rubber. But the problem is it smooths the rubber and cause slippery. The Cherry blossom polish really gives a new look to the rubber parts.
WD-40This is a wonderful product that becomes really handy. This product can be used for many purposes. I use the product to clean the chain, remove hard stains and grease, and for anti-rust coating. This product prevents rusting if applied on a surface.

ReplyDeleteI don't use any products on chrome. But after polishing the aluminum casing with 3m rubbing compound; I use the same cloth to just buff the chrome which gives a good shiny effect.
